The Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors is proud to present the 80th CIPHI Conference held in Hamilton Ontario on October 7 – 9, 2019. Many efforts are underway to build bridges in public health and this is a great opportunity to share those innovations with our colleagues.  From the benefits of one health collaborations to innovative ideas between urban planning and public health inspectors, professionals are teaming up to improve health.  New innovations are impacting the food we eat, the water we drink and the places we live, work and play. Public health inspectors build relationships with community stakeholders to improve our health.  What is your agency doing to build bridges in public health?

This year’s focus will be to showcase the new efforts that have been working to “Build Bridges in Public Health”.  We want to highlight the “Commitment to Innovation and Collaboration”.  It is time to look at things outside of the box, to tackle old problems with new technologies or new strategies.

  • Building Bridges through successful collaboration; new partnerships, working with stakeholders to yield positive outcomes.

  • Innovation; new approaches to old challenges; changes to process, research, technology.

Our conference theme invites presentations that will showcase, celebrate, demonstrate and promote research, knowledge, collaboration, skill building and highlight diverse approaches and expertise within the important field of population and public health. Help us continue to shape our health systems and advocate for high quality programs and services that enhance the health of our populations across the country.

Abstracts are welcomed from public health partners and industry professionals.
